Driven by a shared understanding of the vital role extracurriculars play in student development, a dedicated group of Shawnee Mission North alumni established the Headed North Scholarship Fund (HNF) in 2020. Recognizing the financial barriers that can prevent North-area students from participating in enriching after-school activities — whether it's the camaraderie of the football field, the empowerment of Girl Scouts, or the creativity of theater camp — HNF directly addresses this need by helping families afford the fees associated with these valuable clubs and organizations.
